About Me

Professional Interests:

• After I have earned my degree, I am hoping to start a career in copyediting. I am already on the search for internships and part time positions that could help me cultivate my editing skills. I also have an interest in copywriting, so I am not deterred by the prospect of proving my writing proficiency before I am given the responsibility of an editor.

Personal Interests and Facts:

• I have dual citizenship. I was born in the United States, but because my mother is a native-born Brazilian citizen (and a naturalized U.S. citizen), I am both an American and Brazilian citizen.

• In my free time, I enjoy dancing recreationally, reading novels, listening to Broadway musical soundtracks, and spending time with my friends.

• Before I set my sights on a career in writing and editing, I had been training for over 9 years to become a professional ballet dancer.
